Description

Close to Heuchera, these excellent perennial plants deserve all the interest they receive. They are very cold-resistant and unmatched in shady areas.

A stump emitting a loose rosette of 5-lobed, light green and villous leaves. The floral stems, quite large, bear a narrow cluster of light pink fluffy flowers that last a long time.

Planting and care

They thrive in a moist soil rich in humus. They adapt very well to clay soils, provided that they are well-drained. We often plant them in the company of hostas, to which they bring the elegance of their foliage and the airy lightness of their flowering. This elegant plant often self-seeds spontaneously in mossy, damp and moist, yet well-drained areas. Suitable for a shaded rockery.
