Description

This lovely fern reaches a height of 40cm (16in) and has evergreen foliage that is wide and very flat. It is nicknamed deer's tongue. You can plant your young plants in semi-shade or full sun, but the soil should not be too dry in summer. Choose the location for your fern based on the moisture level of your soil.

Planting and care

You can plant your young plants in partial shade or sun, but the soil should not be too dry in summer. Choose the location for your fern based on the moisture level of your soil. In March, prune the old leaves of your fern to make room for new foliage.
