PKS
This traditional copper alloy dandelion weeder, with its long ash handle and its sharp heart-shaped blade (or rather V for victory) fixed on a swan neck collar for more power, will become the friend of your vegetable garden and your back by cutting the roots of weeds. This tool comes with a 2-year warranty.

This traditional copper hoe from the PKS Bronze range,  the Cor model, which shares its name with the famous Austrian ecologist and naturalist, is equipped with an ash wood handle and a copper alloy head, perfect for naturally weeding flower beds and vegetable gardens. This sharp blade cuts young and tender weeds at the neck. The copper head, which releases micro particles into the soil, helps to enrich it with this natural component. Copper tools are durable, rust-free, and last a lifetime. They also have the advantage of not needing sharpening. Furthermore, they are elegant, with the aesthetic appeal of copper adding a noble and silky aspect. Copper tools, with their extreme longevity, are faithful companions to their owners for decades.

Dimensions: head fixed with a swan neck socket: 19 x 11cm (4in) - handle length: 162cm (64in)

A hoe is a tool used to weed the soil by scraping and scratching the surface to eliminate weeds. It allows for easy maintenance of your garden and vegetable patch, while protecting your back. It effortlessly clears the base of hedges, roses, and bushes, and defines cultivated areas (paths, flower beds). Using a hoe has the advantage of preserving the environment by avoiding the use of chemical weed killers. Generally, weeding is done as weeds appear once a month for perennials and the vegetable garden, and three times a year (April, June, September) for flower beds. Its ergonomic shape and large size make it the ideal tool for larger surfaces.

To ensure the proper maintenance of your tool, and because good tools make good gardeners, it is recommended to clean the blade after use by simply removing any remaining weeds and dirt. Occasionally, especially at the end of the season when maintaining garden tools, use fine-grit sandpaper to clean and prepare the handle for the next use. The copper head is recyclable, and the handle is compostable.

Directions for use The hoe is an essential tool for weeding between the rows and maintaining your garden or vegetable patch. Work after rain or watering, a soil loosened by moisture will greatly facilitate the weeding operation. It is also preferable to intervene on young plants, whose roots will be less developed, and which will not have had time to reseed. The hoe is inserted into the soil at the neck of the plant (at the base of the leaves, at ground level), pulling on the handle, the blade fixed on a swan-necked socket cuts the weeds. To maintain the beautiful appearance of your copper tool, we recommend cleaning it with a stiff brush after each use, storing it away from moisture, and once a year sanding the handle with fine sandpaper and oiling it with a mixture of linseed oil and turpentine, which allows for easier application. You can dilute it half and half and for faster drying of the handle, use boiled linseed oil.
