Labels not withstanding the conditions of the plants themselves.......... There, I don't see how we can inform visitors, my descendants, several years from now, about the plants and trees installed here? ................... Nature is not a greenhouse, it seems to me.......................

A set of square-shaped slate-chalkboard plant labels, surrounded by an elegant wooden frame. This is a decorative and very useful accessory that you can use to write the names of your plants or as a small decorative board to display messages and personalise floral arrangements to give as gifts. The inscriptions should be made with a chalk marker (not included).

These La Cordeline planting labels, made of wood and slate in a square shape, with a wooden outline, allow you to write the name of each plant in the garden, greenhouse, or vegetable patch, while adding a vintage decorative touch to plantings. It is an aesthetic and useful accessory for remembering the name of a plant or the date it was planted, navigating through seedlings, marking your garden like a botanical path, or personalising a floral arrangement with a message.

Seed packets, as well as printed bands and labels that are included when buying plants, often deteriorate quickly under the combined action of sunlight and rain, with the names of the plants becoming quickly illegible. These La Cordeline labels, however, are made of slate and wood and withstand heat and time well. They can therefore be reused many times. The name of the plant or any information or message can be written on them using a simple chalk or an alcohol-erasable chalk marker before placing them. Then simply plant the label in the garden soil, pot, greenhouse, or vegetable patch, close to the plant you wish to name.

Labels are very useful accessories that can also be elegant or charming, and are appreciated by every gardener. In the vegetable patch, they are essential for identifying lettuce, radish, or carrot seedlings, as well as different varieties of melons or squash. In the ornamental garden, some perennials or bulbs disappear underground for a good part of the year and risk being accidentally dug up if not labelled. Collectors of irises or grasses will appreciate being able to remember the names of the pretty varieties they have planted. Enthusiasts of rare plants for which there is no common name can, thanks to the label that acts as a handy memory aid, proudly present the Latin name of their latest acquisition to their amazed visitors. Finally, naming a plant is an excellent way to awaken children's interest in nature in all its diversity.
