10 cm Spear & Jackson serrated hoe

This 10 cm serrated hoe by Spear & Jackson innovates with its serrated steel blade that grips better and requires much less effort from the user than a traditional hoe with a smooth blade. Driven from a long beech wood handle, its narrow head works wonders in tight spaces, between vegetables and between rocks in the rockery. It is an efficient, lightweight, easy-to-handle and easy-to-use garden tool.

The hoe is designed to weed the vegetable garden or ornamental garden without the use of chemicals. It manually and mechanically removes weeds by superficially scraping the soil without turning it over. The head of this Spear & Jackson model is thick, sharp and narrow and cleanly cuts below the neck of young unwanted weeds on the surface of the soil, or scrapes more deeply to dislodge their roots. This tool works quickly, easily manoeuvring under plants, even when their vegetation is abundant. The long, lightweight and sturdy beech wood handle (130 cm) is finished with a "knob" and equipped with a ring at its end for easy storage. The handle is compostable, the metal head is recyclable.
