This Solabiol Pyrethrum Shock Insect Treatment is a ready-to-use insecticidal product that acts within 48 hours against household insect pests (indoor plants) and surrounding areas (terraces, balconies...). Packaged in a 1L spray bottle, it allows for easy use.

This product combines two active principles that unite in the fight against numerous insects:

- Pyrethrins at a concentration of 0.25 g/L: extracted primarily from Dalmatian pyrethrum (Tanacetum cinerariifolium), a genus of tansy, these molecules called pyrethrins, jasmolins, and cinerins possess both repellent and insecticidal effects. Acting by contact, they remain on the leaf surface. Pyrethrins have a lethal effect on the nervous system of all cold-blooded organisms and indiscriminately destroy all insects, both pests and beneficials, as well as aquatic organisms, fish, amphibians, and reptiles. When used judiciously and in areas with low insect populations like the home or its surroundings, pyrethrins prove very effective in overcoming pest infestations. These molecules are rapidly degraded by light: for this reason, a pyrethrin treatment should always be carried out at the end of the day.

- Piperonyl butoxide (PBO) at a concentration of 1.8 g/L: now prohibited in organic agriculture, this synthetic molecule is present in many pesticidal products. It belongs to the synergists, which have no intrinsic pesticidal properties but enhance those of the insecticidal molecules they are combined with. After ingestion by insects, PBO inhibits the secretion of certain enzymes and disrupts their endocrine mechanisms. This molecule, in high doses, also presents harmful effects on the endocrine functions of humans and on the environment.

This treatment is effective against aphids, caterpillars, mites, spiders, cockroaches, bed bugs, mosquitoes, whiteflies, cabbage white butterflies, thrips, and all larvae.

To limit pest invasions, it is preferable to act preventatively. Always promote biodiversity in the garden, particularly beneficial insects (ladybirds, hoverflies, lacewings, tits, spiders), by creating refugium areas in your garden and avoiding the use of synthetic pesticides and weedkillers.

Use: from May to August. Spray from 20 cm directly onto the insects. Preferably treat in the evening. Re-treat if necessary, in case of new infestations.

Main application rates: ready-to-use product (1 to 2 ml / application).

Marketing Authorisation No.: 2110084 - Classification SGH09, H411 EUH401. Dangerous. Observe the safety precautions. Use plant protection products with care. Before any use, read the label and product information.
