A small, high-quality hoe, with a lovely beech wood handle and a sturdy steel head. This little hand tool will be especially useful for maintaining your planters and flower beds, as well as your terrace or border edges.

The Spear & Jackson hand hoe is a small, high-quality tool that has a beautiful handle made of wood and a sturdy steel head. Lightweight and easy to handle, it will be valuable for weeding and loosening the soil in flower pots, vegetable beds, and planters, as well as small borders.

The small hoe is an essential tool for maintaining small areas and raised beds. Its very rigid blade, in the shape of a square plate, is used for "hoeing," which means aerating the surface soil and removing unwanted weeds. It breaks up the surface crust and turns the soil around the cultivated plants, allowing water and air to circulate in the soil. The pointed sides of the blade allow for the removal of weeds that compete with the plantings. The hoe is used by inserting the blade into the soil and pulling the tool towards oneself, i.e., scraping the soil. Its small size is perfectly suited for maintaining narrow spaces found in vegetable beds, pots, or flower pots. This model has a socket handle that securely attaches the steel head to the beech wood handle. The end of the handle is drilled, making it easy to store.

Directions for use The Spear & Jackson hand hoe is lightweight and easy to handle and will be invaluable for weeding and loosening the soil in flower pots, vegetable beds, planters, and small borders. Its very rigid blade, in the shape of a rectangular plate, is used for "hoeing", which means aerating the surface soil and removing unwanted weeds. It breaks up the superficial crust and turns over the soil around the cultivated plants to about ten centimetres, allowing water and air to circulate in the soil. The pointed sides of the blade help to remove weeds that compete with the plantings. Use the hoe by inserting the blade into the soil and pulling the tool towards you, i.e. scraping the soil. The end of the handle is pierced, making it easy to store the flower hoe. Tips: ▪ Clean after use ▪ Store the tool in a dry place, protected from water
