This is an essential accessory in the professional field of horticulture, ensuring good drainage and ventilation for optimal development of your young plants. Sold in packs of 2. Available in different models with varying cell sizes to meet all your needs.

The Classic 84 Hole Seed Tray (0.05 litre volume) Soparco, pack of 2 is designed to facilitate propagation by cuttings for both beginner gardeners and professionals. It is an accessory that features 84 culture cells or compartments in which you can easily sow and transplant young plants. With two-level compartment bottoms and holes on the top, this tray ensures proper drainage and ventilation, preventing the occurrence of fungal diseases and mold. Use this compartmentalized tray to germinate your vegetable and annual seeds, as well as propagate your perennials and bushes! Place it in a bright and warm location for successful plant growth. Made of thin and flexible black plastic, simply pinch the compartments to remove the well-developed plant roots. Then transplant them into the garden or pots. Compartmentalized tray sold in packs of 2. Available in different models with varying compartment sizes.

The culture tray measures 54cm (21in) long, 31cm (12in) wide, and 4.6cm (2in) high. It is made of matte black plastic material, which is flexible and thin enough to easily extract well-rooted young plants. It features 84 hexagonal-based culture cells measuring 4.6cm (2in) in height and 3cm (1in) in width (equivalent to a volume of 50 cubic cm per cell)all in one piece. This facilitates filling the compartments with soil, placement, sowing, handling, care, watering, and transplanting. Watering can be done using a watering can with a fine rose, or through capillary action by placing, for example, a piece of carpet that can be moistened, under the seed tray. This way, the plant will be protected against aggressive watering and will receive a regular water supply with a consistently moist substrate.

This model is available in different sizes. From the 54-hole tray with compartments measuring 4.8cm (2in) in height and 4.9cm (2in) in width, to the 160-hole tray with compartments measuring 5.4cm (2in) in height and 2.7cm (1in) in width, to meet the needs of every gardener.

Detailed features

Directions for use Place your culture tray on a suitable support: table, shelf... Fill each of the culture cells with special seed compost. Sow your seeds following the instructions for each plant, water with a fine spray. Set everything up in a bright and heated space. Remember to open the greenhouse from time to time to let out the condensation and excess humidity. Ensure that the compost remains slightly moist, but not waterlogged. Watering can be done by capillary action, for example by placing a piece of carpet that you can moisten under the seed tray. This way, the plant will be protected against aggressive watering and will benefit from a regular water supply with a substrate that is always moist. Once the seedlings are well developed, you can remove them by pinching the cells at their base and transplant them individually into a larger pot or plant them directly in the ground. Fill with a substrate suitable for the plant (compost, a mixture of soil and compost...). Water to compact the soil around the roots.
