This is an essential accessory in the professional field of horticulture, ensuring good drainage and ventilation for optimal development of your young plants. Sold in packs of 2. Available in different models with varying cell sizes to meet all your needs.

The Classic 104 Hole Seed Tray (volume 0.035 litre) Soparco, pack of 2, is designed to facilitate multiplication for both beginner gardeners and professionals. It is an accessory that features 104 culture cells or compartments in which you can easily succeed in sowing and transplanting young plants. Equipped with two-level compartment bottoms and holes on the top of the tray, this tray ensures good drainage and ventilation, thus preventing the occurrence of fungal diseases and mould. Use this compartmentalized tray to germinate your vegetable and annual seeds! Place it in a bright and warm place for successful plant growth. Made of thin and flexible black plastic, simply pinch the compartments to extract the well-developed plant plugs. Then transplant them into the garden or pots. Compartmentalized tray sold in packs of 2. Available in different models with varied compartment sizes.

The culture tray measures 54cm (21in) long by 31cm (12in) wide and 5.4cm (2in) high. It is made of matte black plastic material, which is flexible and thin enough to facilitate the extraction of well-rooted young plants. It features 104 hexagonal-based culture cells measuring 5.2cm (2in) in height by 3.4cm (1in) in width (equivalent to a volume of 22 cubic cm per cell), all in one piece. This makes it easier to fill the compartments with potting soil, carry out sowing, handle the tray, provide care, water, and transplant. Watering can be done using a watering can with a fine rose, or through capillary action, for example by placing a piece of moist carpet under the seed tray. This way, the plant will be protected from excessive watering and will benefit from a regular water supply, ensuring that the substrate remains consistently moist.

This model is available in different sizes. From the 54-hole tray with compartments measuring 4.8cm (2in) in height by 4.9cm (2in) in width, to the 160-hole tray with compartments measuring 5.4cm (2in) in height by 2.7cm (1in) in width, to meet the needs of every gardener.

Detailed features

Directions for use Place your culture tray on a suitable support: table, shelf... Fill each of the culture cells with special sowing compost. Sow your seeds following the instructions for each plant, water with a fine rain. Set everything up in a bright and heated room. Remember to open the greenhouse from time to time to remove condensation and excess moisture. Make sure the compost remains slightly moist, but not waterlogged. Watering can be done by capillary action, for example by placing a piece of carpet that you can moisten under the sowing tray. This way, the seedlings will be protected from aggressive watering and will benefit from a regular water supply with a substrate that is always moist. Once the seedlings are well developed, you will remove them by pinching the alveoli at their base to transplant them individually into a larger pot or plant them directly in the ground. Fill with a substrate suitable for the plant (compost, a mixture of soil and compost...). Water to compact the soil around the roots.
