Organic farming
Double and sturdy black PVC links that can be quickly installed and easily tightened using a notch system. They are attached in a figure-of-eight pattern to prevent contact between the tree and its stake. The total length corresponds to the sum of the two parts of each link, so the actual length is therefore twice as small. These fasteners can be used on young trees or saplings. Sold in packs of 10.

These double notched ties are quickly applied and easily tightened thanks to their notched system. They are fastened in a figure-of-8 shape to prevent the tree trunk from coming into contact with its stake, which could cause injury to the plant. The total length of each tie is the sum of its 2 parts, so the actual length is half of that. These ties can be used on young trees or saplings. Made of black PVC, they are sturdy and can be reused multiple times. Sold in packs of 10.

These ties have a notched length and two holes at their ends to make a first loop around the support and a second one around the stem to be staked, forming an "8". This ensures a secure attachment between the two elements without compressing them.

Staking trees is essential when they are newly planted in windy sites and/or in loose soils, such as sandy or loamy ground. On one hand, their root system is still insufficiently developed to provide proper anchorage in the soil, and on the other hand, the above-ground vegetation, often disproportionate to the root system, offers significant wind resistance. The stake is usually installed at the time of planting, about 20cm (8in) from the trunk, facing the prevailing wind. The notched ties should remain in place for a minimum of 2 or 3 years, a necessary time for the consolidation of the root layer. It is important to regularly check that they are not constricting the trunk. Loosen them, if possible, to adjust their size, or replace them with wider ties.

Detailed features

Directions for use These double ties are links used to attach young trees to a stake. They have two holes to encircle the support (use the lower hole) and then the stem to be staked (pass the end through the upper hole), forming an "8". Be careful not to tighten too much to avoid choking the trunk and leave some margin for its growth in width. It is important to regularly check that the ties do not strangle the trunk. Loosen them, if possible, to adjust their size, or replace them with wider collars. Resistant to outdoor conditions, the ties can be reused for many years.
