Rosa Anahe

The Rose 'Anahe' with its large flowers conceals beneath its tenderly romantic blooms a particularly robust temperament. Its fully double flowers, reminiscent of English roses, display a beautiful peachy pink colour with salmon undertones, and the spectacle continues throughout the season. The bush, very hardy and resistant to rose diseases, requires very little maintenance. Stunning in a flower bed, it also performs well in a large pot. And its softly scented roses with their incomparable brilliance are wonderful in bouquets. 

The Rose 'Anahe' is a magnificent creation introduced by the Orard rose garden. This variety has been awarded the Casino Prize in Baden-Baden and the Bronze Medal in Rome. It is a vigorous plant that forms a tall, thorny bush with a height of 90 cm (35in) and a spread of about 60 cm (24in), adorned with very healthy foliage, divided into toothed leaflets of a satin-like medium green. It blooms abundantly from June to October. Its corollas are fully double (80 petals), either solitary or in groups of two or three. The tightly closed buds open into globular cups filled with overlapping petals. The flower colour is a pale pinkish yellow with various shades and a more orange centre. The fragrance is light. The deciduous foliage falls in autumn. 

Cluster-flowered roses allow for the creation of beautiful small hedges, planted in a mix along the edge of a terrace or in beds with small shrubs. Pair them with dwarf weigelas, bluebeards, and peonies, for example. They are good companions for paniculate phlox and tall baby's breath. This variety, 'Anahe', fits into all gardens, even small ones, and can also be grown in large pots. Its uses are diverse, according to each gardener's preferences: in a rose bed alongside orange or white varieties ('Marie Pavie', 'Swanny'), with light and easy-care plants like perennial geraniums, perennial salvias, foxgloves, or asters. And its roses are very beautiful in bouquets.
