Our range of trailing pansies. These small perennial plants grown as annuals, with a flexible and spreading habit, are ideal for hanging baskets. They provide flowering from autumn until spring. The pansy ‘Cool Wave Morpho’ is one of the best known: it captivates with its large, violet-blue and yellow flowers, with shifting hues. In the same series, the ‘Cool Wave Yellow’ offers bright yellow corollas, while the variety ‘Cool Wave Fire’ provides flamboyant shades of dark red and yellow. The ‘Freefall’ series ('Freefall XL Mix') is an interesting alternative, with slightly smaller flowers, but a very trailing habit and great vigour.

Trailing pansies are grown in fertile, cool, but well-drained soil, in a sunny to partially shaded position. They are particularly hardy and tolerate the first cold spells well. For continuous flowering, regularly remove faded flowers and apply a fertiliser for flowering plants during the growth period.
